I have been training and showing SwanSun Golden Retrievers since 1980.  I bred my first litter in 1985 and have had the occasional litter since then.  Obedience (and now rally) are my passions and I try to breed dogs that have the structure and temperament to help me accomplish my goals.  In 2011 I was recognized as an American Kennel Club Breeder of Merit for the many AKC titles earned by the SwanSun Golden Retrievers.  In 2020 I was recognized by Good Dog for my good health testing practices on my dogs.

I have been a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America http://www.grca.org, the Inland Empire Golden Retriever Club http://www.iegrc.com, and Lilac City Dog Training Club  http://lilaccitydogtrainingclub.com  since 1980 . I joined Spokane Dog Training Club http://www.spokanedtc.org  in 2019.  I am always happy to answer questions or discuss my favorite breed, the Golden Retriever!
